LNG Canada is a joint venture among Shell, PETRONAS, PetroChina, Mitsubishi and KOGAS, five companies that are global leaders in LNG, providing world-class technical expertise in producing, storing, shipping and selling natural gas, along with access to markets. From the outset, LNG Canada worked to become the project of choice for British Columbia. Every decision we’ve made during the planning and design process has been done keeping safety, the environment, economic and community interests top-of-mind.

For over 40 years, the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) has proudly sponsored BCCA Employee Benefits, which has allowed BCCA members to purchase group benefits and insurance protection for their employees and their families. Our commitment to providing every Member with exceptional service and value is demonstrated in everything we do. Members of  BCCA enjoy preferred rates with BCCA Employee Benefits. We operate as a non-profit association, which means that all of our surpluses go back into the program. Our clients enjoy the cost advantages and price stability of a larger, combined group, but still retain the flexibility to choose their own plan design.

Coastal GasLink is a $6.2-billion pipeline project that once completed, will safely deliver natural gas from the Dawson Creek, B.C. area to an LNG Canada facility near Kitimat, where it will be prepared for export to global markets by converting the gas to a liquefied state,  also known as an LNG. The project will benefit local and Indigenous communities by providing high-quality jobs, local business stimulus and opportunities, property tax revenues, and local community investments. British Columbians will also benefit from the export of natural gas to global markets—an important energy resource that can help replace coal-fired facilities in Asian countries and help reduce global greenhouse gas emissions.
