Summit Cancellation Announcement

Thank you for your interest in the Bid.Right.2019 Summit.

Unfortunately, it is with sincere regret that we advise you of the cancellation of this event, originally scheduled for April, 8 in Victoria BC.

Procurement in BC’s construction industry is a very important issue, and the BCCA is a strong and active advocate for the advancement of open, fair, and transparent procurement practises in public tendering.

While we remain passionately committed to working closely with industry and public owners to advance the principles of CAMF and to develop public sector procurement capacity, we have determined that there is not – yet – enough engagement from owners and bidders across the sector to support a productive full-day conference that would meet our standards and your expectations.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause. Rest assured, anyone already registered will receive a full refund on their ticket purchase as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your commitment to the industry and your leadership in understanding the importance of procurement-related issues.  We encourage you to contact the BCCA or your Regional Construction Association with any questions regarding procurement best practices, whether they are theoretical or related to a current project opportunity.
